In the past we have been strongly involved in Regional Plan Guidance for larger scale development proposals, including attendance at Examinations. With the present position of regional planning in considerable doubt as a result of the actions of the Coalition government it is far from clear how long Regional Spatial Strategies will continue to exist and what, if anything, will replace them.
